Our flight to Minneapolis was great. Smooth, on-time, and best of all it was super short!! In fact, we arrived early?! Does that ever happen?!
So, we arrived and had a nice lunch and happened to see our flight to Korea was delayed?! Oh no!! Thankfully, it was only (?!) 40 minutes However, we would be landing less than an hour before our next flight and the last flight to Hanoi that day. Ugh. Would we make it?! The gate agent said that we should be ok. Alrighty... We will see.
Fast forward 13 hours and one looooong flight from Minnesota to Incheon, South Korea later... And we are pulling into our gate at 6:15pm only to have to make it to our next plane before it is set to leave at 7:00pm!! 🤪
And we have to make it through security. Also, did I mention everyone else in the 31 rows before us?!
So, here's how it went... We briskly made it off the plane. Pretty much some of the first off and found a gate agent who basically flung us through security. Super fast. The gate agent informed us of our gate and we were off to the races. To answer the age-old question, Can/Will Janie run?! The answer is a resounding YES!! When she is properly motivated (avoiding an extra 10 hours in Korea) she can and will run to get her tail to a gate just as they are boarding!!
We made it with time to spare as they held the flight 15 minutes to make sure our bags arrived on board!! 😁
Our third flight was easy and quick. Three and a little hours later, we were taxiing into Hanoi. Found our luggage (first as it was last on!) and took our scheduled car to the hotel. Very nice!!
