After getting settled into our hotel, we took a walk down the street to the Vietnam History Museum. This was neat because the exhibits covered the history of the country from the paleolithic period until 1945 which was a lot of new information for us. The exhibits were explained in English and contained some really nice pieces of jewelry and ceramics. Unfortunately, there are no photographs allowed inside.
One thing we love is the cost of admission to local museums and attractions. Admission for 2 adults and one student was 75,000 dong, which is a little over $3 US.
